Jennifer Garner is a West Virginia native, born in Houston on 17 April 1972. William John Garner worked as an chemist at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner, the mother of Patricia Ann, taught at an area college. She earned a degree with a chemical engineering degree to follow her father. To pursue her acting dream, she decided to move to New York and try her hand in the world of Hollywood. She worked at a restaurant while appearing in Broadway shows. Being a part of the Early Steps to School Success (EASS) program's ambassador team Garner has visited families on a regular basis to guide them in ways to encourage their young children to achieve.
